of Longstreet's battles, led 4 brigades at the Wilderness, October
1864 Brig. Gen., commanded Sorrel's Bde/Mahone's Divn at
Petersburg (w), Hatcher's Run (w).
Post War: Merchant, steamship executive, wrote memoirs.
