commanded Pegram's Bde/Wheeler's Divn at Murfreesboro, commanded
Pegram's Divn/Forrest's Corps at Chickamauga, commanded Pegram's
Bde/Early's Divn at the Wilderness (w), Shenandoah Valley campaign,
commanded Rodes' division after Winchester, Hatcher's Run (k).
Post War: Pegram was killed in action during the Battle of Hatcher's Run.
