commanded McGowan's Bde/Hill's Divn at Chancellorsville (w),
commanded McGowan's Bde/Wilcox's Divn at the Wilderness,
Spotsylvania (w), Petersburg campaign, Appomattox.
Post War: Elected to Congress but denied
his seat, politician, judge.
